Namugongo’s star not surprised

EXCELLING was not a surprise to Shifah Matovu who sat for A’ level exams at Uganda Martyrs’ Secondary School, Namugongo.
Matovu said she was always among the best students.
In the Primary Leaving Examinations, she got seven, while in O’level, she had 14 in eight subjects.
She scored AAAB in History, Economics, Literature and Divinity. “I prayed for success and I am happy God granted my wish. I also thank my parents for all the support,†an overjoyed Matovu said.
Matovu intends to study Law, specialising in human rights.
Her mother, Aisha Namatovu described her as a bright girl.
