FRIDAH Nabisubi, the best student at Central College Mityana, credits her success to frequent prayer trips to Bukalango Worship Centre in Kakiri.
“Every end of the month, my dad and I made the trip to the centre to pray and God has answered us,†an overjoyed Nabisubi, who scored 22 points in Divinity, Economics, Entrepreneurship, History and Luganda (5ACBA), said.
The 19-year-old wants to study Law at Makerere University. Her father, Musa Bulega Nkalubo, is a second year B.Com student at Makerere University.
“Apart from giving me financial support and parental guidance, I would revise with my dad whenever I would be in holidays,†said Nabisubi as she hugged her dad and sister Belinda Nassuna who accompanied her to The New Vision offices after receiving the good news.
“I realised her potential after ‘O’ Level and took her to a boarding school. I am very happy she hasn’t disappointed me,†her father said. Nabisubi says one of elder sisters is a lawyer and that’s why she wants to pursue Law.
