Determination is the expression Elizabeth Nanyunja gave as she tended to her 380 birds at Bbiina in Kampala.

She has a garden and 14 goats to tend, so it was surprising that she dropped Agriculture and endured an extra year at A’level in order to perform better.

She dropped Entrepreneurship, Biology, Agriculture to take on History, Economics, Geography and Divinity at Bishop Cyprian Kihangire SS, Luzira. It paid off when she scored ABBB5.

“It was hard. I had to change my mind and focus fast from sciences to arts,” she said while feeding her birds. I am still applying the agriculture I learnt but my focus is to do a procurement and logistic course,” said Nanyunja.

To her, discussions during the holidays, the good atmosphere at school and home and prayers helped her achieve her dream performance.
