NAMUTUMBA - Health officials on Thursday closed down Agape Children’s Centre with over 200 pupils in Magada sub-county for lack of a toilet. The Busiki county health inspector, Juma Mugoya, said the school administration had ignored numerous warnings to improve on the sanitation at the school. Mugoya said more schools with poor sanitary facilities would be closed down.
Tororo town in cleaning feat
TORORO - The water and environment minister, Maria Mutagamba, has called upon residents to clean the town so that it can regain its past glory. She said the town was one of the cleanest during her primary school times. Mutagamba was launching the cleaning exercise as part of activities of the Nile Basin day in Mella sub-county recently.
