Tell us about the sh1m you donated to children living with HIV in Uganda.
Pepijn: When we learnt about the suffering of children living with HIV in Uganda, we started selling our CDs at sh12,800 (five Euros) to friends, family and fans. This is how we collected sh1m.

Why did you name your band Second Bear on the Left?
Leonoor: We used to practice in the attic (the upper floor of the house). It was a dark room where we kept our instruments. Pepijn and I used to fear going there because our dad joked that there were bears in the room. He would tell us that when you pass the first bear on the right, walk to the second bear on the left. At the time we were scared but it later became a joke so we decided to name our band Second Bear on the Left.

Pepijn: I go to Conservatorium School. It is a musical school for young talents. I am in the first year of high school (S.1)
