EDITOR—I request the chairman of the Uganda Investment Authority, Patrick Bitature, to apologise to the returning Ugandans from Iraq. Bitature says these people will be a ‘disaster’! I don’t agree with him that these people will be involved in criminal activities.
He should know that they are being paid and have the ability to invest their money in any kind of business just like any other Ugandans. Besides, they were not trained in criminal activities but in keeping security. Mr Bitature, is that how you advise the President?
