Every teacher, male or female, has their unique techniques of teaching.

Every teacher, male or female, has their unique techniques of teaching.
And as long as the technique is good, attractive and easy to understand, the student is likely to follow the lesson.
For instance, some teachers have weird characters, but good teaching techniques.

Patrick Mukasa, 22, student Female teachers are more strict, while their male counterparts are easy-going. Female teachers are good at English, while the males are good at math.

Aisha Nalubega, 24, sales agent
When I was still in school, I did not like male teachers because they were tough. Female teachers were kinder.

Alfred Kato, 23, student
It does not matter if the teacher is male or female; both can still be strict. What matters is that the teacher is able to impart knowledge effectively. I do not mind them being strict, as long as they do their work. I do not like teachers who favour some students and do not recognise true talent. I also do not like teachers who are lazy. I regret my high school days because my teachers were not doing their job well. It was a waste of time and money. I was better off learning somewhere else.

Lydia Turyatemba, 30, businesswoman
In primary school, I did not care who taught me; every teacher was nearly the same. But in secondary school, I preferred male staff because they were less strict and would not be envious of students over issues like one having better clothes than theirs.
