THE Lady Cranes are poised yet to make another history at the Uganda the Sportsman of the Year awards at Hotel Africana tomorrow.
The team made history as the first ever Ugandan side to qualify for a World Cup event, the IRB World Cup in Dubai.
Team captain Christine Kizito feels Mugabe is the top contender.

HIGHLIGHT: 4th at the 2008 Beijing Olympics
HONOURS: 2008 USPA Sports Personality Of The Year; Athlete of the Year
PROFESSION: Businessman
KIPSIRO is the athlete, who has closely challenged Kenyan and Ethiopian dominance both within and without the region. He followed the 4th place finish in Beijing with 2nd positions in the 5000m IAAF World Athletics Final and IAAF Golden League in Zurich. He is chasing a back-to-back crown, only after the Uganda Cranes who managed it in 1989 and 1990.
