BRENDA Nambi is one of the recent breakaways from the Obsessions and now performs alongside Helen Lukoma in HB Toxic. She is also a popular urban fashion designer and owns the Bambi label.

The latter was recently unveiled at the Club Silk Fashion Night. Many believe Nambi is fashion savvy and are inspired by her outfits.

Her outfits cost sh470,000 from uptown boutiques. But it is really worth about sh250,000 in other outlets.

At the Cinci’s Boutiques on Kamu Kamu Plaza or Cham Towers, ladies’ knee-length denim pants go for sh60,000.

These can also be bought from Sylvie’s Boutique, Garden City or Poison Boutique on Tank Hill Road, Kabalagala, for about the same price.

Tops like Nambi’s cost sh50,000 at any of the three boutiques; the shoes cost sh60,000.

Ladies’ Zone Boutique on Kampala Road, opposite Shell Malindi, also sells similar ladies’ shoes at sh60,000. Casual leather belts go for sh30,000.

At Cinci’s, anklets like Nambi’s go for sh15,000 each while a golden earring, bracelets and necklace sets cost sh80,000 each.

The silver ladies’ watch costs sh80,000 and the hair extensions at Pinky’s Salon on Katatumba Suites cost sh80,000 with styling.

As a frugal but stylish shopper, you can start your shopping spree by dropping-in at Mutaasa Kafeero Shopping Arcade.

It is famous for the numerous affordable Thai-made replicas of designer clothing.
However, at the basement of this arcade is the Top Designers shop.

Here you can buy Nambi’s knee-length denim pants at only sh25,000.

A top similar to Nambi’s will cost sh20,000, sh30,000 or less. Shoes similar to Nambi’s, go for sh30,000.
Casual leather belts will cost sh15,000.

The sales people here are open to bargaining so the items could cost you less if you haggle well.

Next stop is Lala’s shop on Sunset Arcade, Wilson Road. Here, a guarantee-gold earring, necklace and bracelet set will cost you sh40,000.

Anklets go for sh10,000 each while hair extensions go for no less than sh20,000 at Karitas’ Hair Garage, Pioneer Mall.

However, this does not include styling because it is not available here. You can have it done at Zam Zam Salon at Majestic Plaza for sh15,000.

The ladies’ watch will cost sh50,000 at Kyakuwa General Enterprises. One can achieve Brenda’s look for sh240,000 or less at a bargain.
