‘I will take him as a boyfriend if he is faithful’
I found it a bit difficult initially, because I was meeting a stranger, but as time passed, I got used to her. She first lied to me that she was still a student but I challenged her. She later admitted that she is not a student but rather a businesswoman.

She asked whether I had a girlfriend and I told her that I once had one who left because I drink. Then she said: “As for me, I’ll let you decide on whether to give up on booze.†She told me of her ex-boyfriend who left for the UK.
She said she was searching for the right man. I asked if I looked like the right man but she said she needed time to figure it out.
We exchanged contacts and I suggested that we meet another day, to which she was positive. That night I called her, and we agreed to meet the next day.
Were you impressed? She was open, unlike many girls on the first date.
And the downside? Her nails were very long, a thing I don’t fancy. I cannot imagine her cooking or washing well with those nails.
What will follow? Girls are usually dishonest so I need time to study her before making a decision.

We discussed a number of issues. When he asked if I had a boyfriend, I told him I do. However, I promised to leave the first guy in preference for him should he prove better than him in character. He suggested that we could go clubbing that night but I told him I had something else to do. He complained that my refusal was a sign that I didn’t like him. I gave him my phone number as a sign that I liked him. He later called asking where I was and I told him I was at home, sleeping.
What did you like about him? He is good looking.
Any where he did not impress you? He talks loosely like he is not serious.
If he invites you for a drink? I will go; that will give me the chance to study him. If he proves faithful, I will accept him as a boyfriend.
