Link Bus management must take immediate action

The Link fleet is relatively newer and cleaner. besides, passengers know the approximate times of departure and arrival. They are also given ticket numbers corresponding with the seats allocated. However, I advise Link management to take action against some of their staff. On June 21, I boarded a Link bus at Masindi bus park at 4:00pm but what I saw was disgusting. The cashier, who signed as Reagan, caused a lot of confusion with several passengers fighting for the same seats because several tickets had been issued more than once!

Interestingly, as passengers clashed over seats, the conductors were hiding at the ‘go-down’ on the entrance to the bus! Of course the money for the extra receipt is pocketed by the staff.

Secondly, several conductors were picked from the taxi park where they were mere taxi touts and brought all their rudeness and roughness to the Link Bus Services.

Where I was seated, two passengers were hit by luggage from the rack and the conductors neither apologised nor did anything about it!

Link management must not sit by and watch their business which started off successfully being destroyed by the people they hired.
