Kampala Kids League KKL lifted the second trophy of their 2009 Eurotour on Saturday when they gave FC Barcelona a lesson in possession football
KKL crushed the Spaniards in their famous blue and red 10-0 to lift the Storsjocupen trophy in Ostersund Sweden.
Ibrahim Mpanga was voted most valuable player after notching seven goals in the final.
Captain Khemis Khalifan, Derrrick Ssekito and Ashraf Mugume completed the scoring.
“These KKL kids from Uganda are really something special. It shows us that Africa is producing great football talent for the future,†conceded Barcelona Escola coach Roman Oliver
The Escola side comprises selected boys aged 12 from Spain who are trying to impress officials to gain admission into the Barca academy when they reach 13 years.
The KKL team, sponsored by Stanbic Bank will today compete in the Dalecarlia Cup before heading for the prestigious Gothia World Youth Cup that starts this weekend.
