TWO lucky sports punters Dennis Kakande and Hassan Mukomba travel to Sweden today to watch top division games and tour various football stadiums in the country.
The trip is fully sponsored by leading sports betting company Sports Betting Africa SBA in conjunction with its European partners Knutsson Holdings AB of Sweden and Editec Lotteries of UK and France.
The two punters were picked from last year’s soccer draw held at the company’s headquarters, but their trip was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances and tight work schedules of the winners.
While in Sweden, the punters will watch top flight matches in the Swedish league dubbed the Allsvenskan.
They will also meet with former Swedish football stars on their one-week tour, in addition to visiting the country’s leading football stadiums in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Helsingborg and Malmo.
Mukomba said: “This is a dream come true and I will never forget this moment.â€
“Visiting Europe on a football related trip has always been my childhood dream. I am glad that SBA are fulfilling that dream for me.
“Sweden is a very good country and I’m looking forward to watching the matches in their league,†said Kakande, who like Mukomba, has never been to Europe.
Kakande and Mukomba will be accompanied by SBA chief executive Simon Mpanga, marketing manager Paul Kimbugwe and games manager Alex Kayonga.
