UGANDAN boxer Ismail “Sharp Shooter” Muwendo was too hot for his opponent Brandon Bradley in their four-round non-title fight at the Armory in Saint Paul, Minnesota, reports Phillip Corry.

Muwendo stopped Bradley after one minute and 26 seconds in the first round of the bout on Saturday.
Bradley traded with Muwendo early on but was caught with a three punch combination to the head where he was dropped and counted out.

It’s now three wins for the Ugandan fighter since going to the United States in March.

The main event fell apart as welterweight Mohammed Kayongo's opponent Jamar Patterson decided to back out of the fight.

Kayongo was not happy that Patterson was a no show. “I just want to knock someone out!” exclaimed Kayongo when asked about Patterson and a possible fight later.

Meanwhile Universal Boxing Organisation featherweight champion Abdu “The Cobra” Tebazalwa, failed in his attempt to clinch the vacant IBF-international featherweight belt on Saturday losing to Irish Patrick Hyland in Dublin.
