ROYAL Electronics, a leading electronics dealer in the country, has embarked on a training programme to enhance customer-handling skills among its staff.
“The programme is pegged to initiatives aimed at cushioning clients against the dangers of the global economic downturn,†Ali Jivraj, the firm’s communication manager, said during a press conference at their premises on Bombo Road in Kampala recently.
“All our staff is undertaking customer relationship programmes to perfect their customer care skills and add value to their trade.†Jivraj also said the firm had plans to expand its operations in the country in the near future.
The expansion project, he said, was aimed at extending their services nearer to customers and making electronics more affordable.
“This is in line with the firm’s policy to enable individuals own electronic products at the most affordable price,†he said.
Royal Electronics is owned by a Malaysian-based electronics group.
