JINJA Nile Resort has won the 2008 Quest for the Best Award,
JINJA Nile Resort has won the 2008 Quest for the Best Award, reports Vision Reporter.
The resort won in two categories, the Best Country hotel and the Best Weekend get-away for 2008.
This was the fourth time in a row for the Jinja-based resort to win the awards given by Twende Travel magazine, formerly Travel News.
The awards are given for numerous hospitality categories to hotels in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania after getting feedback from the readers who are the clientele in the region.
“We have kept our position as Uganda’s premier resort becasue we focus on clients’ needs. We have also made continuous improvements since we opened in 1999,†Rakesh Pant, the resort accountant, said.
The resort is a subsidiary of the Mada Hotels Group that owns a number of other hotels in East African.
