Kyambogo University has released their private undergraduate admission list.

This year, according to the university’s registry, about 7,000 students have been admitted for various programmes on the private scheme. The list shows that science-based courses were the most competitive, judging from the high cut-off points. The undergraduates are expected to report for studies in a week’s time.

Kyambogo also benefits from the Government sponsorship programme alongside other public universities.

Students in the meantime are expected to pay the same fees because increment by public universities for private students was halted by the Government last month. However, discussions, at the cabinet level, are still going on to decide on whether to raise the fees or not.
