Schools closed over hygiene

Kampala City Council has shut down St. Joseph’s Centenary Secondary School in Ndeeba and Cardinal Nsubuga Memorial Primary School over poor waste management.

Kampala City Council has shut down St. Joseph’s Centenary Secondary School in Ndeeba and Cardinal Nsubuga Memorial Primary School over poor waste management.

The schools have a total population of over 1,200 students. Town clerk Ruth Kijjambu said the schools would only re-open for the next term after inspection.
