The Buganda government has praised Ernest Kiwanuka Kintu Sempebwa 90, for his contribution to the development of the kingdom and the country.
Speaking at a thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s Cathedral Namirembe on Sunday, the first deputy Katikkiro, Emmanuel Sendawula, hailed Sempebwa for his expertise in teaching students here and in Britain, writing and translating books and serving as a secretary to Kabaka Sir Edward Muteesa II.
Sendawula handed over gifts to Sempebwa as acknowledgement of his contribution and 90th birthday.
The Kabaka , Ronald Mutebi, attended the ceremony.
