You need a certain degree of stress to keep you on your toes and to enable your brain perform at its peak.

Certain amount of tension produces some hormones that help you to feel alert and more focused. However, too much anxiety can block your memory.

Although exam fear hits its peak in the examination room, it begins much earlier during revision. If you don’t deal with it in time, examination fear can hinder your revision.

Let’s share some tips to help you control anxiety associated with exams:

- Lack of preparation is one of the leading causes of fear. Strengthen your revision skills and have confidence in yourself.

- Fear of exams is often associated with fear for failure. Think positively and believe in yourself. Self doubt is one of the main causes of failure.

- Establish a pattern of revision that gives you time to relax.
