KAWEMPE LC III boss Alhaji Nasser Kibirige Takuba has declared his support for incumbent FUFA president Lawrence Mulindwa in the November pools if he is elected Kawempe delegate.

Takuba declared registering his candidature for the Kawempe district delegates elections.

“I will support Mulindwa. He has faired well this term and we shall help him put right what went wrong,” Takuba stated.

Takuba refuted claims by his opponents that he is a novice in sports.

“I have played an active role in KAYOFA since its formation in the early 1980s and in the Kawempe Secondary Schools Sports Association for the last ten years,” Takuba charged.

Meanwhile, incumbent delegate Waswa Ntogo is considering stepping down to vie for the post of district chairperson.

“I may step down and go for the position of district chairperson if candidates for the two slots of delegates are pro-football,” Ntogo said.
