UGANDAN-BORN volleyball star Lawrence Yakan could finally realise his dream of playing professionally when he turns up for trials at Egyptian club El Shams in Cairo next month.

UGANDAN-BORN volleyball star Lawrence Yakan could finally realise his dream of playing professionally when he turns up for trials at Egyptian club El Shams in Cairo next month.
Yakan changed his nationality to Rwandan three years ago and features for APR in Kigali who have allowed him to move.
He however still features on the Ugandan circuit as well.
