A NEW washing detergent, Ariel, has been launched onto the local market. Protector & Gamble, unveilled the new washing powder through their local distributor, Kiboko Limited at the Railways Grounds, Kampala over the weekend.
The promoters said the new Ariel Enzymax formulation is specially- prepared to tackle regular stains such as raw matooke, dirt, mud, tomato sauce, and tea.
“We are offering to the consumer an unrivalled product that cleans tough stains in a single wash,†said Nozizwe Awuor, the Ariel brand manager.
“For along time, the washing powder category has lacked news to drive consumer excitement and increase sales because of low tier brands,†said Andrew Plastow, the country manager.
