<b>IGG wants sh6m recovered</b><br>BUNDIBUGYO - The acting IGG, Raphael Baku Obudra, has written to the Bundibugyo chief administrative officer, directing him to recover sh6.06m from Edward Mumbere, the sub-county councillor for Ndugutu.

BUNDIBUGYO - The acting IGG, Raphael Baku Obudra, has written to the Bundibugyo chief administrative officer, directing him to recover sh6.06m from Edward Mumbere, the sub-county councillor for Ndugutu. He is said to have received the money from the head teacher of Kasanzi Primary School, to construct classrooms and a pit-latrine. Baku said Mumbere faces arrest if he does not do the work within 30 days or refund the money.

Kasese creates 3 sub-counties

KASESE - The council has resolved to create three more sub-counties. This was decided during a council meeting on Thursday at the district headquarters in Rukoki. The new sub-counties awaiting approval from the central government are Buhuhira from Kyabarungira sub-county, Isango from Karambi and Bwera and Nyakatonzi from Lake Katwe, Munkunyu and Kamuruli sub-counties.
