Malaysia for varsity meet - Malaysia has confirmed participation in the World University Woodball Championship due in Kampala. This brings the number of foreign teams to 14 in the event to be held at Munyonyo next year. Malaysia joins India, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, Kenya, Tanzania, Singapore, Mongolia, South Africa, Ghana, Indonesia and Nigeria. Local federation secretary Godwin Senyondo said plans for the event are in top gear.
Trainers coming - The world’s top baseball league, the Major League Baseball from North America through the international baseball body, The Little League International will train Baseball and Softball coaches and instructors in Uganda. According to officials, registration is on and according to Richard Stanely, the director of Uganda Little League Baseball, two trainers will arrive in Uganda in January.
