A Former Anti-Theft Stock Unit officer guarding a farm belonging to a senior army officer was on Saturday shot dead by unknown people in Kokeris village, Moroto district, reports Olandason Wanyama.
Paul Kapel, a guard to Maj. Gen. Andrew Gutti, was shot dead while going to ease himself. The incident occured at around 8:00pm at the home of Charles Aurien, an area resident and his brother-in-law.
Acting district Police commander Cox Apamaku said they had visited the scene of the crime and arrested some suspects. “We have two suspects in custody, who are helping us with investigations,†he said.
