JINJA-The Police have arrested four men for stealing transformer oil in Kakira sub-county. Sam Mugadu, Ronald Bukeire, Asuman Ssewanyana and Hamuza Waiswa were arrested on Sunday. The south-eastern regional Police spokesperson, Samson Lubega, said UMEME staff said the culprits were not their employees. He said they would be charged with theft.

MOROTO-The LC5 deputy chairperson, Paska Napeyok, has blamed men for domestic violence. She made the accusations on Saturday at the district chamber hall while closing a three-day workshop on gender-based violence. The workshop was organised by the district community development officers to sensitise leaders and development partners on gender-based violence in their communities.
