RALLY - Burundi lady rally driver Luclie Nizebimana has joined the Mbarara Motor Club super sprint due November 29 at Festino Cite in Mukono.
According to Saeed Kakeeto the event coordinator, Nizebimana arrived yesterday and will be recceing the course next Monday in a bid to master the Festino terrain. Nizebimana, in a Subaru N8, will take on local top lady drivers Susan Muwonge, Rose Lwakataka and Laila Mayanja.

Golola has fight

KICKBOXING National kick-boxing middle weight champion Moses Golola, will fight Ethiopian Simon Zena for the World Kick-Boxing Network title (WKN) in Kampala. The inaugural network title fight, whose date is yet to be confirmed, is expected to have judges from Germany, said Golola’s manager Kamal Sabuni. “We want a fair judgment and it’s the reason we are working with our German counterparts to send us judges.”

Oasis to host 3-day fanfare

CYCLING - The Oasis of life Cycling Club will December 11-13 organise a food and fan cycling competition. The three day event will on day one have riders cycle from Jinja to Kampala, Gayaza and back to Jinja. Day two will see them traverse the east to Mbale. The competitors will on day three concentrate around Jinja town. They will make 10 runs between the agricultural show ground and Walukuba.
