PASTOR Wasswa Kiyingi of Pillar of Worship Ministries has the reputation of supporting gospel artistes, which is why one would expect his concert to attract a massive crowd.

But to everyone’s disappointment, Kiyingi’s concert at Kolping House, Bwaise on Friday, attracted a sizeable crowd, a misfortune that everybody blamed on the heavy evening rains.

However, this did not discourage Kiyingi. He went on with his show, which he said was aimed at raising funds for his church.

During the show, Kiyingi launched his third musical album, titled, Jangu Ombeere.

Accompanied by the talented Calvary Band, Kiyingi performed all the songs off this album, which included Wakyaliwo Essuubi, Ggwe Lwazi, Mulimu Emirembe and Kaboogere.

He received some good cash pledges from his fans, who included Fredrick Luzze, Margaret Sserunjoji, Dubai Phones and M7R company.

Gospel artistes, Julie Muteesasira and Pamela Ssennyonga, performed.
