CHARLES Ojinga, a soul artiste based at Holy Cross Family Ministries in Nsambya, proved his uniqueness as a soul minister during the launch of his maiden musical album, Amaata (Ateso for let’s worship) at Christ the King Community Centre, Kampala on Saturday.
Ojinga made his launch a worship experience. The event was dominated by worship, praise and prayer sessions, led by national charismatic renewal ministry worship team.
Ojinga, a guitarist, was accompanied by a live band as he performed his songs. These included Amaata, I surrender, Holy, Fill me and He is great. His fans sang along and danced for Jesus, as he performed.
Dr. Margaret Bukenya, wife to Vice-President Prof. Gilbert Bukenya, was the chief guest. Ojinga’s fans raised sh1m to support his musical ministry.
Gospel ensembles like Divine Love, Trinity, Richard Masembe and Anawim also performed.
