THIS is perhaps the country’s most renowned and acclaimed tourist destination. The old town is endowed with innumerable attractions. It has the historical Source of the Nile, which is a must visit. The Source is surrounded by sprawling tree gardens as well as hotels, inns and guest-houses.
Bujagali Falls (4km from the town centre) provides its own thrill, with rafting and kayaking on the spurting white waters of the falls, camping around the place and bungee-jumping.
Even a simple walk around town can be a charming discovery of what life was like decades ago, thanks to the town’s colonial look.

Jinja Nile Resort is part of the Mada Hotels. It is located on the eastern bank of River Nile, offering guests a splendid view of the rapid water flow as it gets to the Bujagali Falls.

KLUGE’S Guest Farm in Kabahango, Fort Portal is a holiday destination to relish. The farm which is located 15km from Fort Portal town has modern facilities.

With in the Forest, couples can enjoy walks to renew their commitments to each other in a quiet and enabling environment.
There is a farm-based cuisine, where fresh milk is got from the farm cows.
The campers can spend days at Kluge’s Guest Farm with access to running water, electricity showers that make life easy and there is a well stocked bar, with a variety of drinks.
At Kluge’s farm, this can be a spring board to visit other areas like the crater lakes, Kibale Forest and the Tea factories. There is also a swimming pool, where guests take swims.
