When I got a call that we would be moving out that evening, I was excited for the chance. I went to the salon for a hair cut and organised my clothes for the date. I kept wondering if we would fulfil each other’s dream. I was determined to find out if she was in a relationship and what she does for a living.
When I saw her, I was pleasantly surprised that she looked mature, presentable and calm, unlike the usual girls I see. She had just a few questions for me because she was in a hurry to go.
I did not tell her about my love life because she did not ask. However, she promised to get in touch with me again so that we can meet together with her friends.

She is honest and humble.

I made sure I had a new hairstyle for the date. I was ready to meet anyone irrespective of the appearance. I placed orders for a beer and pizza. As I was sipping my beer, he came. He chuckled as he sat down, asking if I was his date. I also laughed.
After sharing about who we are, we discussed how each of us ended up in the date. We were frank and shared our feelings openly.
As soon as I saw him, I decided we were not going far.
He was very excited. He kept calling his friends and relatives, telling them how well things were going between us. He offered to share his dinner with me but I declined.
He invited me for another outing but I told him I would rather come with friends. He was okay with the idea, especially, since I told him I have a boyfriend. We exchanged contacts and left.
What struck you about his behaviour?
He treated me with respect; he did not touch me unnecessarily.
Any thing that upset you?
His dress code was not proper. I was uncomfortable when smart people were staring at us.
What would you have had him wear?
At least something casual but fashionable.
