Nabukeera mom blocks her travel
LAST week we broke the story of the rift between Kampala businessman Frank Gashumba, the guardian of Aisha Nabukeera and the girl’s mom Sophia Nakandi.
LAST week we broke the story of the rift between Kampala businessman Frank Gashumba, the guardian of Aisha Nabukeera and the girl’s mom Sophia Nakandi.
The latter is demanding sh30m collected from the public to help Nabukeera, whose skin was badly creased by a dress doused in petroleum, to go for an operation in the USA.
She has said she was tired of waiting on Gashumba to take her child for treatment; that the treatment Nabukeera has received so far is sufficient and that her future spouse would take care of the rest.
Incidentally, after our story last week, a city tycoon reportedly offered three return air tickets to the USA for Gashumba, Nabukeera and the mom.
However, Nakandi has stood her ground and vowed to block Nabukeera from leaving the country claiming it would disrupt her education.
