WAKISO - The Nabagereka, Sylvia Nagginda, has hailed the Rotary Club of Kasangati for initiating water and sanitation projects. Mengo minister for health Nelson Kawalya read Nagginda’s speech during the commissioning of a sh55m water project at Kasangati health centre on Saturday. The club also donated wheelchairs, blankets and mosquito nets to the disabled.

SEMBABULE - Former parliamentary contestant for Mawogola, Bashabe Turyatemba, has asked President Yoweri Museveni to give the district Woman parliamentary election runner-up, Joy Kabatsi, a job. Kabatsi, a lawyer by profession, lost the race to the NRM party flag-bearer, Anifa Kawoya with a vote deference of 4,000 in the juat concluded by-elections. “The situation can easily be sorted out if Museveni gives Kabatsi a reasonable job. That would calm down her supporters,†he said.
