CELEBRATED singer Jose Chameleon and his wife Daniella have got saved.

The two accepted Jesus on Thursday evening after Kenyan evangelist Annabelle Renno preached and prayed for them at Kololo Hospital, where Chameleone was admitted on Wednesday morning after a brawl.

Annabelle, an apostle from Without Walls Evangelistic Ministries in Kenya, entered Chameleone’s hospital room at about 4:00pm without the musician’s knowledge and by the time she left at 7:00pm, the musician was singing Alleluiah.
After preaching for a while, she asked Chameleone whether he knew Jesus, to which the singer answered, “I know him and he knows me.”

The apostle then said on Wednesday God asked her, in a dream, to go and save Chameleone from his troubles. He said he wanted to use him through singing.

“God asked me whether I knew Yusuf Chameleon. I had no idea who he was,” she said.
The apostle then asked Chameleone what he wanted God to do for him. “I want Him to have mercy on me,” Chameleone answered.

Asked whether they were willing to give their lives to Christ, Chameleone and his wife said yes.

The preacher led them in a one-on-one prayer confession, in which the couple vowed to turn away from sins they had committed in the past and pledged to denounce satanic practices.

An unconscious Chameleone was admitted to Kololo Hospital on Wednesday morning after a fight with businessman Meddie Sentongo in Kampala. The incident comes just two months after Chameleone fell off an Arusha hotel balcony and broke both legs.

The singer is not the first secular celebrity to get saved. Pastor Roger Mugisha, formerly of the Shadows Angels, gained fame in the late 1990s due to his group’s erotic shows. Later he got saved and confessed he had been engaged in devil worship.
