THE FUFA competitions committee has rescheduled Uganda Super League and Kakungulu Cup matches involving Express, Villa, Boroboro and Mbarara United.
Following a request by Express’ team manager Muhamud Kateregga, the committee secretary Moses Magogo rescheduled the club’s Cup and league matches against Mbarara to allow them play both games in a single trip to the western Uganda side.
Express was due to visit Mbarara for a Kakungulu Cup second round match on January 30, before returning to play a league match on February 4.
The Sharing versus SC Villa Kakungulu Cup fixture has also been brought forward by a day, to January 29, to allow visiting Zimbabwe club Caps United pre-match training at Nakivubo stadium. Caps United are scheduled to play Victors in a CAF Confederations Cup preliminary stage tie against the Kakungulu Cup holders at the stadium on January 30.
Yesterday’s KCC versus Boroboro match has also forced the league committee to re-fix tomorrow’s Boroboro/Express match in Lira to Saturday.
