IT will be a battle between Ugandan teams when East Africa netball queens NIC and Uganda Prisons team will meet today in a do-or-die fixture at the ongoing regional netball club championship in Zanzibar.

NIC’s Hadija Nakamya was on top of her game yesterday, scoring 11 goals as they beat Mafunzo 50-21 to keep her team’s dream of retaining the regional title alive.

Today’s match, to be played at the Gymkhana Sports Club, will determine the next destination of both sides in the champiuonship that ends on Sunday.

A win for either side will be enough to push victor on top of group A while a draw casts an open chance for both teams’ qualification to the semi-finals.

The two are on five points each but a better goal difference gives NIC an upper hand. If NIC wins, Prisons will pray Zimamoto beats JKT.
