Akiiki Romeo, where are you?

EDITOR—I used to enjoy Akiiki Romeo when we played with the Kads Band, but now that is no more and I do not know where to find him.

The last time I heard of him was when he had a stint at Capital Radio. Akiiki is one of the most talented young musicians Uganda has had. His music, which is normally a blend of traditional folk, contemporary and jazz, is very captivating.
He is a true musician with a good knowledge of musical instruments, unlike many of the so-called musicians we have today. Although very talented, Akiiki lived a simple and modest life, unlike the pompous and inflated-ego “musicians†we see today. Akiiki, wherever you are, we miss your music. It is not too late, you can make a comeback.
