Total fuel card!
EDITOR—I happen to be a holder of a Total Fuel Card for about a year. However, I was surprised when I went to a Total fuel station in Seeta (Mukono) on March 1 and was told I could not get fuel because my card did not have the car registration number,
EDITOR—I happen to be a holder of a Total Fuel Card for about a year. However, I was surprised when I went to a Total fuel station in Seeta (Mukono) on March 1 and was told I could not get fuel because my card did not have the car registration number, despite the fact that it had just been loaded with sh200,000. I had to cancel the journey to Kamuli as I did not have the sh100,000 needed for fuel.
I insisted on seeing the manager of the station, who showed me a communication from their head office with the bogus requirement. To make matters worse, the cards do not have any helpline. Even my search on the internet could not locate any official website for Total Uganda.
Can you please communicate to customers any changes before you send out memos to your outlets some of which have managers who can barely express themselves? I hope you shall resolve the problem soon.
