He has done practically everything there is to do in marketing in the corporate world. He has worked as a senior clients relationship manager, Standard Chattered Bank; a brand manager, BAT (U) Ltd; head of marketing and corporate affairs, Barclays Bank;
He has done practically everything there is to do in marketing in the corporate world. He has worked as a senior clients relationship manager, Standard Chattered Bank; a brand manager, BAT (U) Ltd; head of marketing and corporate affairs, Barclays Bank;
head of of sales and marketing, utl and as the latest assignment as head of marketing, Warid Telecom.
As the latter, he was not only charged with establishing a marketing department from scratch, he was supposed to help establish a brand no one knew.
Well, not anymore. Joseph Walusimbi voluntarily threw in the towel a few months ago to go into business consultancy. We hear Walusimbi is putting his best foot in the music business. His latest venture is WES INC, a joint venture with Vision Radio’s Ernest Wasake.
The company will basically sign on and nurture new musical talent. We do not yet know the full scoop of their activities but, watch this space.
