HANDBALL - IBRAHIM Kongo’s goal contribution helped his Police team humiliate Makerere in a second round handball league game played at Kibuli grounds. Kongo’s 14 goals were backed up by Kenneth Mugisha (11) that left the students down and out for a final score of 49-29. Although Makerere’s Andrew Wekesa and Richard Wader’s combined effort contributed 15 goals for their team, they only helped Makerere reduce the goal difference. Ndejje students also demolished UPDF with an 11-goal margin after Jim Orotin and Tom Olweni hit 19 goals between them. In the ladies category, Police team was left disappointed on home ground after UPDF’s Sylvia Nakanwagi lifted her team with 14 goals to beat Police 29-13.
