SC Villa will travel to Wankulukuku tomorrow aiming at downing rivals Express in the return leg of the Women’s Day Cup, reports Norman Katende.

Villa, who lost to the Red Eagles 1-0 in the first leg at Villa Park on Friday, will be using the encounter as a build up to their Kakungulu Cup semifinal clash against Bunamwaya on Sunday.

According to Villa manager Chris Mubiru, the friendly will help fine tune the players as they prepare for their must win Sunday encounter, as Villa seeks to end an over three-year drought of trophies at Villa park.

“This is the only chance we have to test our players ahead of the Kakungulu Cup semifinal clash.

With the league matches put off, there is so little we can do,” he said adding that they are eager to avenge the defeat at Villa park.

Bunamwaya travelled to Sudan for an international friendly with CAF Champions’ League outfit El Merriekh, which is also due tomorrow.

The winner of the clash will walk off with a bull courtesy of the sponsors.
