FAST-RISING youngster Jack Evans had an outstanding display in the Mountain Dew Motocross Challenge on Sunday when he emerged winner in the 125cc category and finished third best in the open class at Garuga.

Evans, elevated to open class category late last season, showed again why he is a threat to top guns, Assaf Natan and Arthur Blick .

Natan and Blick kept fans on their toes in their race, where Natan prevailed after winning two of the three heats (1st and 2nd). Blick lifted the last one after Natan fell in one of the fast corners of the track.

Natan keeps his lead in the open class with 171 points, with Blick trailing by 14 points. Evans is third with 121 points.

Blick’s five-year old son Alestair dominated the 50cc category as Eduardo Bosi took the 65cc class.
