UGANDA’S top tennis player Duncan Mugabe starts a busy schedule next week that will see him participate in four ITF/Futures tournaments. He will start with the Great Britain F5 Futures in Bournemouth, from April 27-May 3.

Mugabe also intends to play in Newcastle, Edinburgh, Dublin and finally join a training camp in Belfast, Northern Ireland according to Cedric Babu, former ULTA secretary who is partly sponsoring Mugabe’s tour.

“It will be good for his career to start playing at this level and consistently so that he can improve on his world ranking,” Babu said.

However the Ugandan has moved from 922 to 912 in the latest Association of Tennis Professionals rankings.
