The Court of Appeal has dismissed a petition in which Anthony Kanyike sought to unseat Norman Muwulize as Buikwe West MP. Kanyike had said Muwulize was not qualified. However, the judges ruled that Kanyike’s appeal lacked merit.

The Government should pay over sh10b debt to the National Medical Stores (NMS), MPs on the social services committee have said. “We don’t want NMS to complain about lack of stock because the Government has not paid,†committee chairperson Rose Sseninde said.
