BY now you know the person we want kicked out of the Big Brother house.
But just in case you don’t, it’s the Shrek look-alike, Jeff Anthony from Kenya. Vote him out as many times as you can before the lines close tomorrow at 8:30pm.

By typing Vote Jeff on your mobile phone and sending to 15626 (MTN and Celtel) and 5626 (UTL), you give our Maureen another chance at bringing home the staked sh175m. You can also vote online at www.mnetafrica.com/bigbrother.

Maureen is swimming against the tide, considering that she is up for possible eviction. But I am positive that she will stay. Since Jeff has made himself so detestable that the housemates are uncomfortable around him due to his hot temper, the continental audience is likely to vote him out so that there is harmony in the house.

While their power struggle task proceeded on Thursday morning, Jeff slapped Nigeria’s Ofunneka as he fought to keep the ring, a symbol of power he had stolen from Ofunneka’s group.
Much as the slapping was accidental, most housemates were not amused by how Jeff loses his temper.

A discerning viewer will definitely vote out Jeff since it might be their housemate he will slap next. Meanwhile, our girl’s territory of coverage, in terms of making other housemates her friends, is limited.

This puts her in a bad position because chances of her being saved by a house head are only with Ofunneka and Code. And we are not sure Code would save her. So unless she wins Big Brothers’ tasks to become house head and be able to save herself, her survival is not guaranteed should she come up for eviction next week.

The show has reached a stage where certain people are immune because several others can save them.

With Bertha being incorporated into the Lerato-Meryl-Kwaku-Maxwell alliance, there’s a strong anti-up-for-eviction bond because they will always save each other. This is because the chance of a house head coming from the group is higher.

So even though Maureen survives tomorrow, her withdrawn nature could lead to her nomination.

Of course viewers would love to see Bertha up for eviction. But she has widened her rapport coverage. By taking Lerato with her to the penthouse on Wednesday, where Big Brother had given her a house-head special treat, Bertha is now owed a favour. Yet when she saved Meryl last Sunday, she conquered Kwaku by guaranteeing him more romance time with Meryl.

So let’s pray that the house head is either Ofunneka, Tatiana, Maureen, Richard or Code. Short of that, the alliance reigns supreme and the ones outside it will keep leaving, Maureen inclusive.
