THE Kampala Archbishop, the Rt. Rev. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, has appointed new members of the board of directors of St. Francis Hospital, Nsambya.

THE Kampala Archbishop, the Rt. Rev. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, has appointed new members of the board of directors of St. Francis Hospital, Nsambya.
Prof. Charles Olweny from Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi will head the new team that will serve for three years.
Lwanga urged the group to be transparent, implement the proposed projects especially the construction of the diagnostic centre and formulate new projects to further development.
Other members on the board include Muhamood Thoban, the proprietor of Four Ways Group of Companies, Thecla Kinalwa, of the President’s Office, Dr. Lawrence Kaggwa from the Ministry of Health and Peter Mayiga, an advocate in Kampala.
The team also includes Sr. Pauline Namuddu, the Superior General of Little Sisters of St. Francis and Dr. Francesco Aloi, a member of the hospital.
Edward Katimbo Mugwanya of Centenary Bank, Peter Kamya from Associated Architects and Charles Mbaziira, a businessman, are members of the group.
The ex-officios include Msgr. Paul Ssemwogerere, the vicar general of Kampala Archdiocese, Fr. Daniel Musitwa, the archdiocese’s treasurer, Regina Bakitte, the health coordinator and Dr. Martin Nsubuga, the hospital’s medical director.
