EDITOR—Your cartoon of September 11 about the Uganda cranes was not really funny. Granted, our chances are slimmer but we are not as hopeless and battered as the cartoonist portrayed us to be.

EDITOR—Your cartoon of September 11 about the Uganda cranes was not really funny. Granted, our chances are slimmer but we are not as hopeless and battered as the cartoonist portrayed us to be. It should have been more respectful of Ugandans emotions at a time like this. It was not nationalistic at all.
