The building will house the Masters in Public Health leadership programme, Vincent Mugaba, the university’s spokesperson, said.
“We will contribute half of the cost (about sh262.5m),†Mugaba said, adding that the university’s friends abroad would foot the remainder.
The block will be named after Dr. Florence Mirembe formerly of Makerere University Medical School, who championed the cause of safe motherhood in Uganda.
