Ngabo secures first win of golf season

FRANCIS Ngabo gathered 40 stable ford points to capture his first win of the season in the East Africa Cable Corporate golf tournament at Kitante, Friday.

FRANCIS Ngabo gathered 40 stable ford points to capture his first win of the season in the East Africa Cable Corporate golf tournament at Kitante, Friday.
Ngabo, who missed out on victory by one point in the JBG tournament a week earlier, was excited to clinch victory.
“I am in great form currently. I knew I would win a tournament one of these days,†Ngabo explained after receiving his trophy.
“I will practice harder and hopefully win more tournaments this year.â€
Ngabo beat Sam Byagagaire to the title by one point.
Solomon Kego, Tom Alwala and John Kavuma emerged top in groups A, B and C respectively at the event held to mark the first anniversary of East Africa Cables firm in Uganda.
